Dr. Peiris joins the faculty at ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵMusic this fall, team teaching Theory and Practise of Music, and Music in Context, as well as Arts in Context for the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵDance department.

Laurence is active in a wide variety of musical fields, including classical, jazz, Latin, and world music. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in music from the University of BC and a Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum Design) from Simon Fraser University.

Classical voice
Praised for her “very personal creative power” (Badener Zeitung) and her “amazing coloratura skills” (Opera Canada), Dory has appeared in recitals in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. She holds a Doctor of Music degree from Université de Montréal.
