Learn from three music alumni from around the globe.

Scott Wilson is professor in Electronic Music at the University of Birmingham, and his Zoom session will touch on composition, synthesis, and a new approach to sound. To get access to Scott Wilson's session, contact music@vcc.ca for the Zoom link.

Joelysa Pankanea is an award-winning composer, sound designer and percussionist, who has composed a dozen musicals, directed casts of up to 150 people, and composed for film, choir, chamber orchestra, and more. Her masterclass will describe her career as a composer and percussionist. Session will be held in-person in Building B room 1227.

Daniel Ruiz is an in-demand Vancouver percussionist, orginally from Bogota Columbia. He will demonstrate methods for expressive and collaborative musical approaches to the drumset and percussion instruments. Session will be held in person at the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµAuditorium.

All events start at 3 p.m. and are open to the public. In-person sessions are at the .

All in-person events involve COVID-19 protocols including masking and vaccine passport.
