Top events happening at ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµin November

November has arrived and between cramming for tests and having study groups, there are moments where you can find fun things to do to stay connected with your peers and be more involved in student life. Included are some other important dates to note until the end of the year. Mark your calendars for events you won’t want to miss!
Thursday, Nov. 2 – ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµDay
Both ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµcampuses will be closed for daytime classes. Evening classes will take place as usual at the Downtown campus.
Monday, Nov. 13 – Remembrance Day (observed)
Both ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµcampuses will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 13 in observance of Remembrance Day.
Tuesday, Nov. 14 – Diwali
In-person, Broadway campus event space and Downtown Atrium, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Education department and the Student Union of ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµfor a special event with fun activities, traditional music, and snacks.
Wednesday, Nov. 15 – Experience ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµ
In person, Broadway campus event space, 3 - 6 p.m.
This annual open house is free for prospective students, parents and alumni to explore more than 140 programs offered at VCC.
Monday, Nov. 20 – ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµMusic concert series
In person, Broadway campus auditorium, 7 - 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 12 – Holiday Craft Market
In person, Downtown campus, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Find the perfect handmade gift for your friends or loved ones at this ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµholiday market, where you will find fashion items, greeting cards, jewellery and more crafted by students and their departments.
Friday, Dec. 22 – Holiday break
²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓÆµcampuses will be closed beginning Friday, Dec. 22 and will reopen for the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. Enjoy the holidays!
